Problem

Tractor leasing operators and fleet owners lost income due to untracked machinery hours, missing payment records, and ruined paper logbooks. Disputes over unpaid work and lack of documentation led to substantial revenue leakage.

Research

Conducted interviews with fleet operators and logistics owners. Identified three critical missing pieces: structured leasing billing, operator session tracking, and implement (machinery attachment) logging. Existing paper logbooks regularly failed due to environmental conditions.

Solution

Built Tractor Pro — an offline-first Android app for heavy machinery leasing and operator management. Sessions are logged in real-time with implement type, work duration, rate, and operator details. Billing summaries are auto-generated and stored locally — no internet required.

AI Workflow

Used Claude AI for architecture planning and data model design. Cursor accelerated component scaffolding and state management patterns. AI assisted in iterating Compose UI layouts to match real-world operator workflows.

Result

Operators can now track all leasing sessions, generate billing summaries, and follow up on payments — all without internet. The app eliminates disputes and gives both leasing companies and customers a shared source of truth.

Barcode Scanning Expiry Tracker with Automated Alerts

Problem

Small shopkeepers lose money daily to expired goods they failed to notice in time. Manual stock rotation is unreliable — a single oversight on a perishable SKU can cost hundreds to thousands of rupees in unsellable stock.

Research

Observed local grocery shops in Kalyanpur and nearby towns. Identified that shopkeepers rely entirely on memory or sticky notes to track expiry dates. This manual system fails consistently for shops with more than 200 SKUs, leading to expired stock reaching shelves.

Solution

Built Expiry Alert Pro — an offline-first expiry tracker with barcode scanning and notification alerts. Products are added via barcode scan or manual entry, and the app sends push notifications before items expire — giving shop owners time to act.

AI Workflow

AI used for barcode label parsing logic to handle varied label formats. Smart notification scheduling algorithm was designed with AI assistance to balance alert frequency and avoid notification fatigue. Data model for product–batch–expiry relationships was AI-generated and then refined.

Result

Shop owners receive automatic, tiered alerts before items expire — 7 days, 3 days, and 1 day before. This significantly reduces waste and unsellable stock, protecting shop margins.

Problem

Small businesses and designers in India couldn't afford professional desktop design software for business cards and promotional material. Existing mobile alternatives were feature-poor or locked behind expensive subscriptions.

Research

Identified strong demand for an affordable, capable mobile design tool among small business owners, freelancers, and local designers. Most relied on WhatsApp-forwarded templates or paid others to design simple cards.

Solution

Built Card Mint Pro under Lagariya Labs — a mobile vector layout creator and business card builder. Users can create, customise, and export professional cards directly from their Android device using a canvas-based editor.

AI Workflow

AI used for layer logic planning — specifically how layers are rendered, selected, and z-ordered in a multi-element canvas. The element snapping algorithm was designed in collaboration with AI. Export format research (PDF, PNG, SVG) and resolution handling were AI-assisted.
